I wanted to share an article written by Michael Horton, professor at Westminster Seminary and also the host of the White Horse Inn radio program. In it, he clearly lays out the biblical view of the death of Christ as a propitiation, a substitution and a laying aside of our sin by God the Father.

According to scripture, Christians have been saved FROM God (his holy wrath toward sin), BY God (his mercy from the beginning of time) through His son, Jesus Christ. This was too excellent an article not to post. And there’s nothing else I need to add. Enjoy!
