I’m a Christian conservative GA native living the music industry dream in Nashville, TN since 1992. I’m married to my first wife and we have twin sons age 9.

My interests vary and include anything political, theological, culinary or having to do with RC model planes (a hobby I’ve always loved). I’m called to be a songwriter and worship leader, so naturally, I spend a lot of time reading and writing! (I’ll be posting songs on here from time to time as well. Be nice, but honest!)

All in all, I find daily grace through God alone and take comfort in my eternal security. He chose to save me, not based upon anything I had done or would do, but because of His grace alone. And even though I’ll rant about idiotic culture, liberals, Pelagians, Arminians and heathens, at the end of the day, I have a peace about my future because of Jesus Christ!

Enjoy the blog!

David

Do you own it if so may I have your permission to use it on the cover of a play that I wrote for my church? If you do not own it could you please point me in the direction of the owner or who I could ask permission.

I CAN’T FIGURE OUT HOW TO E-MAIL YOU!! So I’m sending this to you this way:

    Hey, guys:

I’ve spoken to you all individually about doing a band for Oasis, (Billy Jones on drums,David Jordan on keyboard, Sean Harrison on electric, Bryan Wolski on bass, Eric Richey on acoustic and Eric and I on vocals.) Ron is interested in having us perform, and it looks like it will be at the August session.
If you are seriously interested in doing this (Bryan, you’ve already confirmed, so don’t bother) please send me back a note and we can pull together a song list. I’d like us to stay chiefly in the country and Christian genres, though a decent blues piece would be a lot of fun. Here’s a sample of songs I’ve been looking at:

“Liza Jane” (Vince Gill)— just because I love hearing Eric sing it!
“It’s America” (Rodney Atkins)— Eric on lead
“I Run to You” (Lady Antebellum)— Eric and Rebekkah on lead/duet
“Nothin’ Better to Do” (Leanne Rimes)— Rebekkah on lead
“When I Get Where I’m Going” (Brad Paisley)— Eric on lead
“It Happens” (Sugarland)— Rebekkah on lead, with an adjustment that will be obvious when you hear the words
“Bring on the Rain” (JoDee Messina)— Rebekkah on lead, Eric on harmony
“Landslide” (Stevie Nicks)— I have a special arrangement that would use only Eric and I

Eric had some other songs he’ll want us to look at, as well.

Again, if you’re still interested, please let me know. Once we agree on some songs I’ll get cds put together and we can figure out a practice time.

Thanks for being willing to think about it. I haven’t done something like this in awhile, and I’m getting really excited about being back up there!

    Rebekkah
